It's a Colourful Life! workshop

Thursday 30^th June, 10am – 4pm, £85 per person

Painting a simple subject matter allows you to develop your painting techniques, understand colour more acutely and get to grips with composition. In this workshop we’ll be taking the classic still life with fruit and giving it a contemporary twist with punchy colour, deliberate brushmarks and palette knife techniques.

This workshop is ideal for beginners or those who want a better understanding of colour, composition and painting techniques. Learning how to set up and paint a bold contemporary still life painting, will help you to experiment with different ideas and become more confident in your approach. It will be an exciting and challenging day with a small group of artists. 

Venue: The Fancy Loft, Farnham Pottery, Wrecclesham, Farnham GU10 4ND Please note, there is no wheelchair access and a small flight of stairs to access the loft. 

Materials and lunch are not provided. You will be sent a materials list and will be expected to bring a basic set of materials for the day including acrylics, brushes and a surface to paint on. Easels and boards are provided. 

We will adhere to latest Covid guidelines on the day. Masks are currently not manadatory, but you may prefer to wear a mask when moving around the building. Hand sanitiser will be available and there is a sink in the room.
