It's a Colourful Life! workshop- 11 Sept

Thursday 11th September, 10am – 4pm, £85 per person

Taking a simple subject matter is not just for beginners, as it allows you to push the boundaries of your ideas embracing colour and composition in new ways.

In this workshop, we’ll take the classic still life with flowers or fruit and give it a contemporary twist with punchy colour, deliberate brushmarks, collage and palette knife techniques. The more advanced may wish to explore the shapes within a composition, pushing into simplicity and abstraction. This is a perfect subject for everyone to develop techniques, understand colour more acutely and get to grips with composition. 

Venue: The Fancy Loft, Farnham Pottery, Wrecclesham, Farnham GU10 4ND Please note, there is no wheelchair access and a small flight of stairs to access the loft. 

Materials and lunch are not provided, but there is a lovely on-site cafe where you can purchase food (with vegan/vegetarian options). You will be sent a materials list and will need to bring a basic set of materials for the day, including acrylics, brushes and a surface to paint on. Easels and boards are provided.
