Unleashing Colour - Thursday 21st May

Thursday 21st May, 10am – 4pm, £85 per person              

Learn to mix colours like a pro and paint a colourful subject of your choice. Discover how colours combine and work together so you can move from 'muddy' to exciting, fresh palette combinations. Enjoy a relaxed day colour-mixing and discovering how to create your own simplified palette. Learn to mix a subtle range of shades and tones, create chromatic greys and position colours for greater effect.

This is a fun workshop exploring colour and gaining confidence in your painting. In the afternoon, you will have time to create a painting using some of your newly discovered colour combinations. This might be a still life, landscape, abstract or a subject you have been keen to paint and can be inspired by reference provided or from your own ideas.

Great for all abilities. An exciting and challenging day with a small group of artists. Limited places.

Venue: The Fancy Loft, Farnham Pottery, Wrecclesham, Farnham GU10 4ND Please note: there is no wheelchair access and a small flight of stairs to access the loft. 

Materials and lunch are not provided, but there is a lovely on-site cafe where you can buy food (with vegetarian/vegan options). You will be sent a suggested materials list and need to bring a basic set of materials for the day. Easels and boards are provided.
